About Luobi Cave
Luobi Cave Tourist Scenic Area is located in Yinling, a peculiar small peak about 7 kilometers northeast of Lizhigou, Jiyang District, Sanya City. It is adjacent to Sanya University and is one of the eight scenic spots in Sanya City. It is about 15 kilometers away from downtown Sanya and next to Sanya University. The cave is located on a small peak with a peculiar shape and is a natural limestone cave. In the center of the cave, there are two stalactites hanging, shaped like giant pens hanging in the air. In March 1992, archaeologists discovered a 10,000-year-old Sanya site in Luobi Cave. It is the southernmost site of Paleolithic culture in China so far. The Luobi Cave Tourist Scenic Spot has magical colors. The Sanya Tourism Department has accelerated its renovation and construction of a number of tourist service facilities, making it another tourist attraction in Sanya City.
