About Yalong Bay Central square
Yalong Bay Central Plaza is located in Yalong Bay National Tourism Resort, Jiyang District, Sanya City, Hainan Province. It is open from 08:00-18:00 throughout the year. After the renovation, the public areas of the square are open to the public free of charge, while the Shell Museum is charged separately. The core landscape of the square is a 26.8-meter-high totem pole, which is composed of more than 200 pieces of granite and an aluminum alloy column with a diameter of 2.5 meters. It is carved with patterns of dragon, phoenix, sunbird and the four gods of wind, rain, thunder and lightning. There are three circles of stone sculptures surrounding the totem pole, respectively showing the four seasons logo, ancient myths and natural creatures.
