About The Great Golden Eagle
The Big Golden Eagle is a sculpture located in Nanshan, Chongqing. It stands majestically on the 671-meter-high Eagle Rock in Nanshan, Chongqing. It is cast in cement and weighs a thousand tons. It is covered with gold foil and has a passage inside. Visitors can climb directly to the head of the eagle. There is an observation deck on top, and you can have a panoramic view of dozens of miles of Chongqing by leaning on the railing. The entire sculpture is about 32 meters high, of which the eagle body is 22 meters high and the conch base is 10 meters high. It is said that this is the highest viewing point in Chongqing. This mountain is called Eagle Mountain, also known as Falcon Eagle Cliff. The reason why the "Big Golden Eagle" was sculpted here is self-evident.
