Haochi Street is a food culture street. In the southwestern Mandarin dialect, the word "hao" in "haochi" is pronounced in four tones, which means gluttony. After continuous evolution, it has become a restaurant district that integrates local characteristics and food culture. Its name is easy to understand and reflects the love for food. This form has a long history. For example, the Haochi Street in Huangpi District, Wuhan City was first built in the first year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1573). There are many such blocks in modern places. For example, Chongqing Guanyinqiao Haochi Street has been developed since 2015 and has 256 catering units by 2024, and implements unified procurement and strict management; Yunyan Minsheng Road "Haochi Street" will officially open in September 2024, with 63 shops.
