About Night View of Huangge Ferry

The Huangge Late Crossing is one of the twelve scenic spots in Cuba and Chongqing. The site is located under the south bridge head of the Shibanpo Yangtze River Bridge in Chongqing today. It was the transportation hub on the north and south sides of the Yangtze River in ancient times. Huangge Ferry is named after the yellow kudzu tree next to the ferry. "Ge" and "Jue" in Chongqing dialect have the same pronunciation, so there are two ways of writing it. "Ba County Chronicles" of the Qing Dynasty records that "the ferry is named after the tree". The ferry was formed in the early Northern Song Dynasty. During the Southern Song Dynasty, it became an important waterway hub from Chongqing to the south bank.
