About Thousand Lion Mountain

Qianshi Mountain is located 1.5 kilometers west of Jianchuan County, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, with a total area of 3.2 square kilometers. It is a national 4A-level tourist attraction. The scenic spot was called "Mang Xieling" in ancient times, also known as "Buying Xianlin", which means "if you buy a half-day of leisure in the deep forest, the worries of thousands of households will disappear with the clouds". There are many stone lions on display at Qianshi Mountain. Stone lions with folk lion patterns of the Bai people from the Eastern Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty are carved on the mountains and rocks on the mountain. There are 3,268 stone lions in existence. Among them, the largest stone lion sculpture is 25 meters high, 15 meters long and 12 meters wide.
