About Ciyun protects
Ciyun Puhu is one of the forty scenes in the Old Summer Palace. Located just north of Jiuzhou Scenic Area, it is a temple garden. This scene was built in the latter part of the reign of Emperor Kangxi and is named "Jian Pavilion". After Yongzheng succeeded to the throne, when the Old Summer Palace was upgraded to an imperial garden, a palace gate was built in the south, with the intention of governing the Ming Dynasty; the main hall was located in the center to build the imperial pole with arches in all directions. This scene is located due north of the central axis, "with a self-ringing bell tower, three feet high." The Ziming Bell Tower is a three-story hexagonal pavilion. It is one of the three Ziming Bell Towers in the royal gardens of the Qing Dynasty. There is a bronze phoenix flag on the top of the tower.
