About Phoenix Eye Cave
Fengyan Cave is located on Putuo Cliff, halfway up Longquan Peak in Cangshan Mountain. The entrance of the cave is shaped like the eyes of a phoenix, hence its name. This scenic spot is famous for its dangerous cliffs. The main landscapes include Sheshen Cliff, the "Immortal Bed" with inscriptions such as "This place is not human", and stone carvings such as the "Western Buddha Statue Pavilion". Fengyan Cave and Longyan Cave are often referred to as important geological wonders in Cangshan Mountain. The construction of the Yudai Yunyou Road in 1992 and the construction of the Cangshan Cableway in 1997 made it easier to visit. However, the scenic spot needs to be repaired due to damage and is currently not open to the public.
