About Wenming Pavilion
Wenming Pavilion is an ancient building complex located on Tianma Mountain in Huangyao Town, Zhaoping County, Hezhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It was built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. It is the location of the "Wenge Qinglan", the first of the eight scenic spots in Huangyao Ancient Town. In 2000, it was announced as a cultural relic protection unit in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The building complex is built on the mountain, including the mountain gate, Tutu Temple, main hall, Kuixing Tower, etc. In the pavilion, there are cliff stone carvings and poems written by celebrities from past dynasties such as "Kite Flying over Fish" and other rubbings copied from Han Yu's handwriting. The building was once in a state of neglect and disrepair.
