About big rafting
Brahmaputra Rafting is a project in Beijing Happy Valley Scenic Area. It was unveiled on June 28, 2019 with the opening of Beijing Happy Valley Phase 5·Shangri-La District. The project has an elevated height of 18 meters and a river length of nearly 800 meters. It offers multiple experiences such as drifting, agitation, and rotation. It is one of the popular water play projects in the scenic area. In September 2023, the project caused controversy due to the "water gun sniper" link. Some tourists used water guns to spray water on tourists on the boat for fun. The park subsequently strengthened its management, removed the buckets, set up warning signs, and used radio to dissuade, and the situation improved. This project is one of the options for summer water play.
