About Tuanhe Palace Ruins Park
Tuanhe Palace Ruins Park is located in Daxing District, Beijing. It is the most magnificent royal garden site among the four Nanyuan Palaces in the Qing Dynasty. It is now a cultural relic protection unit in Beijing and one of the second batch of famous historical gardens in Beijing. It was first built in the thirty-seventh year of Qianlong's reign (1772) and took five years to complete. It covers an area of about 33 hectares and combines the layout of Jiangnan gardens with the northern royal architectural style. It is known as the "first palace in the imperial capital". The park is divided into two lakes, the east and west. There are existing restored buildings such as the Imperial Stele Pavilion and Cuirun Pavilion, and the imperial poetry stele made by Emperor Qianlong and the original landscape pattern.
