About Xiaoleiyin Temple
Xiaoleiyin Temple is a fictional temple where the yellow-browed old Buddha appeared in Chapter 65 of "Journey to the West". It is also known as Xiaoxitian and was used to deceive Tang Monk and his disciples. The scene combines the real-life features of the Flesh Body Palace, Huacheng Temple, Shangchan Hall and Jiande Lingqi Cave in Jiande, Zhejiang Province. In the 1986 version of "Journey to the West", the interior scenes of the Buddhist temple were shot in the Jiuhua Mountain Temple, the exterior scenes were the Flesh Treasure Hall, and the demon cave was shot in Qingfeng Cave, Lingqi Cave. The old Buddha with yellow eyebrows was originally a chime-beating boy under the seat of Maitreya Buddha. He stole golden cymbals, human race bags, chime-beating hammers (later turned into short soft maces) and other magic weapons and descended into a demon.
