About Panlong ancient vine
Panlong ancient vine (scientific name: white flowered vine) is an evergreen woody vine of the leguminous genus. The existing thousand-year-old ancient vine is located in Xianteng Garden, Xiaolou Town, Zengcheng District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. It is more than 1,300 years old and is classified as a first-class ancient tree. It has been identified as the largest existing white-flowered fish vine individual in Asia. The ancient vine has a stem circumference of 1.68 meters and a circumference of the thickest part of 2.3 meters. The total length of the vine is about 150 meters, with an extension span of more than 30 meters and a coverage area of 900 square meters. The vines wrap around the ancient banyan tree to form a coiled dragon-shaped ecological landscape, which blends in with the five trees and looks like an "8"-shaped disk-shaped dragon when viewed from the air.
