About Pangu Peak

Pangu Peak is a peak located on the west side of Dehang Village, Jishou City, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan Province, China. It is the core natural landscape of the Dehang Grand Canyon. It is more than 700 meters above sea level and is surrounded by cliffs. It is an independent peak and is known as the "Proud of the Mountain". The top of the peak is a spherical cone-shaped platform, covering an area of about 40 acres. It is dotted with primary secondary forests dominated by bulbous core and oak oak. Perennial cloud and mist transpiration form a unique microclimate. The modernly excavated zigzag stone steps include tunnels, inclined paths and other dangerous sections, forming a climbing route that combines exploration and sightseeing. The geological structure is a karst landform on the edge of an alpine platform.
