About Hanjingtang
Tripataka Hall is located in the central area of the Changchun Garden of the Old Summer Palace in the Qing Dynasty. It was built in the 10th year of Qianlong (1745). It was the residence planned by Emperor Qianlong to return to power and retire. The building complex covers an area of about 45,000 square meters, with a length of 300 meters from north to south and a width of 150 meters from east to west. The main body consists of Hanjing Hall, Chunhuaxuan and Yunzhenzhai as the central axis, supplemented by symmetrical buildings such as Fanxiang Tower and Xiazhu Tower. It has the functions of sleeping quarters, book collection (containing the Collection of Sikuquanshu), political banquets (with a yurt) and religious functions. It was burned down by the British and French forces in 1860.
