About Tianxin water surface
There are two main historical sites on Tianxin Water Surface. One is the Tianxin Water Pavilion located on the south bank of Daming Lake in Jinan, Shandong Province. It was built by Li Ying in the Yuan Dynasty. Its name is taken from a poem by Shao Yong, a Neolithic scholar in the Northern Song Dynasty, "When the moon reaches the center of the sky and the wind blows on the water surface," it embodies the Neo-Confucian pursuit of "taoism in tranquility". The pavilion was once part of the Hushang Villa in the Yuan Dynasty. It was destroyed at the end of the Yuan Dynasty. It was restored together with the Chaoran Building in the early Ming Dynasty. It then went through wars in the late Ming Dynasty and reconstruction in the Qing Dynasty. It finally collapsed during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty.
