About Golden Street

Golden Street is located in the bustling center of Heping District, Tianjin, only 3 kilometers away from Tianjin Railway Station and 20 kilometers away from Tianjin International Airport. The intersection of Heping Road and Binjiang Road forms the "Golden Cross", with a total length of about 2,520 meters. It is the longest commercial pedestrian street in the country and enjoys the titles of "a street without fakes in a hundred cities and thousands of stores" and "a street for honest consumption". The neighborhood was first built in 1902. It now has century-old buildings such as the Quanyechang Building (the only national key cultural relic protection unit that retains its original commercial functions), the Transportation Hotel, and 12 time-honored brands such as Lao Meihua and Clay Figure Zhang, as well as modern commercial complexes such as Plaza 66 and Teemall.
