About Wuying Pagoda
Shadowless Pagoda, also known as Xingfu Temple Pagoda, is located in Hongshan Park, No. 509 Wuluo Road, Wuchang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. It was built in the sixth year of Xianchun (1270) in the Southern Song Dynasty and moved to Hongshan Park in 1962. The history of the Xingfu Temple Pagoda can be traced back to the Chengsheng reign of Emperor Liang Yuan of the Southern Dynasty (552-554). In the Southern Dynasties, Jin'an Temple was built at the southeast foot of Hongshan Mountain, and there was a Jin'an Temple Tower in the temple. In the first year of Renshou (601) of Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty, Jin'an Temple was renamed Xingfu Temple. Because there was a small pagoda in the temple, it also got the common name Xiaota Temple. The Wuying Tower is a four-story imitation wood structure with double eaves, pavilion style building, about 11.
