About plum blossom spring

Plum Blossom Spring is located in Qingzhao Garden, Baimai Spring Park, Zhangqiu District, Jinan City. It is named after the gushing out of five artesian boreholes drilled in 1979. It is named after the five gushing springs arranged in a plum blossom shape. The spring pool covers an area of about 1,800 square meters, with a normal jet flow of 0.5 cubic meters/second. The spring water flows into the Xiujiang River through Jinjiang Bridge. There are Baimai Spring, Mo Spring, Shuyu Spring and other spring groups around it. The spring water originates from the caves in the limestone mountainous area in the southeast. The groundwater is blocked by the sand shale and Carboniferous Permian coal strata on the north side and then gushes out along the fissures. In winter, the spring's gush height can reach nearly 1 meter, forming an ice-blue glass-like water curtain.
