About Jiangjun Bridge
Jiangjun Bridge is located at the junction of Jingshan Street, Ouhai District, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, and Chengjiao Township, Lucheng District, across the Qinqin River. It was historically an important transportation artery from Shanghe Township to Wenzhou City. The bridge was originally called Xingchun Bridge, and later it was also named Jiefu Bridge. Because it is adjacent to the Jiangjun Temple that worships Gong Bing, the Wenzhou guard general in the Tang Dynasty, it is called Jiangjun Bridge among the people. In the first year of Xiantong of the Tang Dynasty (860), Gong Bing was killed in Qiu Fu's uprising, and his descendants built a temple to commemorate him.
