About Guanyin stone
Guanyin Stone is a mountain located in Ruijin City, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. It is located at the junction of Shanqi Village and Shibei Village. It is named because the mountain is composed of rocks that naturally resemble the Guanyin Bodhisattva. It is a peak forest landscape. The main peak is 100 meters high. The cliffs are as steep as cut. Only a small amount of vegetation grows in the stone crevices. Changhua gem minerals are distributed in the surrounding hills. In the history of this mountain range, disputes arose due to competition between two villages for forestry resources. In 1931, a forest protection agreement was reached through mediation by the Chinese Soviet government. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, a forestry farm was set up to promote greening. Now there are forests of pines and firs with forest protection monuments erected.
