About Hanxiu Bridge
Hanxiu Bridge is located in Zhongjing Village, Yuanhe Street, Xiangcheng District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. The year of its construction is unknown. The existing bridge was rebuilt in the 15th year of Guangxu's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1889), and the heritage type is "other". On June 30, 2014, it was included in the seventh batch of municipal cultural relics protection units by the Suzhou Municipal People's Government. The couplet on the south bridge is written in regular script, "The name of the drum coming to Hong Kong from the south is Chaimi, and the name of the river heading east is Yangcheng."
