About Lion Bridge Food Street
Shiziqiao Food Street is located on Hunan Road, Gulou District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. It is connected to Hubei Road to the north and No. 28 Yunnan North Road to the south. It is a characteristic dining street in the bustling area of Nanjing. The block is more than 300 meters long. It was originally a farmers' market and was transformed into a food pedestrian street in 2000. The facade renovation has been completed and the ground design has been deepened. There are "Hundred Lion Archways" and stone bridges at both ends of the street. There are bronze statues at the entrance and resting benches along the way. The total construction area of Shiziqiao Historical and Cultural District exceeds 42,000 square meters. Its name originated from the Liu and Song Dynasties and has a history of nearly 1,600 years.
