About Liren Bridge
Liren Bridge is located in Tangqi Town, Linping District, Zhejiang Province. It is the first reinforced concrete cable-stayed truss arch bridge with a single span of 50 meters. It was completed in 1971. The span ratio of the arch ring is 1/8, and the bridge deck clearance is net 7 plus 2 × 0.75 meters of sidewalk. The entire bridge is equipped with 4 arch pieces, and the upper chords are covered with a slightly curved concrete deck. The prefabricated arch segments are laid horizontally and stacked, and are lifted, turned and hoisted by floating cranes in sections. Temporary supports are set up at three points to pour wet joint concrete. After renovation, the total width of the bridge is 24.5 meters, maintaining the current navigation level and navigation clearance. Liren Bridge is located on the bank of the canal. On the left is the ruins of Dalun Silk Factory, which is a rebuilt bridge.
