About Mazi Noodle House
The Mazi Noodle House is the core filming scene of the film "Three Guns" (2009) directed by Zhang Yimou. It is located in Zhangye Danxia Geopark in Gansu Province. The building is a two-story antique structure of blue bricks and gray tiles. It was built with bricks and tiles shipped from Anhui and Hebei and cost nearly 600,000 yuan. After the filming of the film was completed, the scene was retained as a cultural tourism landscape in Zhangye Danxia Scenic Area. Based on the movie scene, a community interactive game of the same name "Mazi Noodle House in the Shadow World" was launched in December 2009. In addition, there is a catering brand with the same name in Youyang County, Chongqing City that was established in September 2021. It has no physical inheritance relationship with the movie shooting scene in Zhangye, Gansu Province, and is a different independent entity.
