About Fuhuyan Tourist Scenic Area

Fuhuyan Tourist Scenic Area is located at the entrance of Liandong Village, Lianhe Town, Youxi County, Sanming City, Fujian Province, 33 kilometers away from the county seat. It was built in the first year of Chunxi (1174) of the Southern Song Dynasty. The total area of the scenic spot is 2,370 square meters. There are existing ancient buildings from the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, including 18 scenic spots such as Shimen Ancestral Palace, Taishan Palace, and Natural Fuhu Cave. Among them, Shimen Ancestral Palace was the "Shimen Palace" given by Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. The confrontation between the mountain and the Wugu Fairy Mountain forms the Wanren Gorge Gate landscape. The cliff stone carvings cover inscriptions from the four dynasties and are characterized by Chen Sheng's poetry and Taoist culture in the Ming Dynasty.
