About Jiuquqiao

Jiuqu Bridge is located in Xiaoyingzhou, West Lake, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China. It connects the north and south embankments. It was built in the fifth year of Yongzheng reign (1727) of the Qing Dynasty. It was built under the leadership of Li Wei, the governor of Zhejiang Province. It is a bridge with stone pillars and slabs. It has a total length of 18 meters and a width of 2 meters. The bridge deck has three turns and 10% fold. It is paved with granite slabs carved with seasonal flower patterns. The bridge head and the pavilion in the center of the lake are decorated with lotus carvings.
