About Four Seasons Archway
The Four Seasons Arch is a group of limestone sculpture buildings located in the northern area of the park in the Yellow Crane Tower Scenic Area. It represents the four seasons of the Yellow Crane Tower in spring, summer, autumn and winter. It is built in the Anhui style and consists of four two-column archways spaced 50 meters apart. Each arch is 8 meters high and 7 meters wide. The lower part of the archway is supported by 6 stone drums, and the top is supported by 34 sets of bucket arches to form a "pin" shaped roof. The eaves are designed with corner beam faucet and roof ridge fishtail shapes. The main body of the archway is engraved with patterns such as "Three Friends Eagle, Carp and Crane", "Sun Reflecting Yellow Crane", "Eagle and Carp Singing in Duel", "Flying Dragon and Phoenix", "Er Lin Playing with the Sun", "Double Lions Chasing" and "Twelve Dragons Flying Down".
