About Yunshang terraced fields
Yunshang Terraces is a 20-meter-high agricultural landscape terrace in the West Park of Wenyu River Park Demonstration Zone in Beijing. It is the highest scenic spot in the park. The paths in the fields wind up, and you can climb up to see the distance. There is a viewing platform called "Wangyuntai" at the commanding heights of the terraces. The landscape was jointly created by the Beijing Agricultural Technology Extension Station and the park. The station has served as the technical support unit for the park's agricultural sector since 2021. Yunshang Terraces is a successful case in the series of urban agricultural landscapes created in the park. The terraced fields cover an area of about 75 acres and are basic farmland. Rapeseed flowers are mainly grown in the fields, which present a golden landscape every May.
