About Former Residence of Sun Liren

Sun Liren's former residence is located in Jinniu Town, Lujiang County, Hefei City, Anhui Province. It is located at the southern foot of Jinniu Mountain. It is inside Jinniu Middle School. It was built in the second year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1863), with a construction area of about 300 square meters. Sun Liren's former residence originally had five entrances and four courtyards, each with 11 rooms, facing north and south. The entire building has a wooden frame structure in the style of a late Qing residence. There are 11 existing houses and an ancient well in the courtyard. The former residence has multiple exhibition rooms including the Anti-Japanese War Deeds Exhibition Hall, bedroom, and living room of the famous anti-Japanese general Sun Liren. There are more than 100 historical pictures and dozens of cultural relics.
