About Panjiayuan Market

Panjiayuan Flea Market is located southwest of Panjiayuan Bridge on Dongsanhuan South Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing. It covers an area of 48,500 square meters and was established in 1992. It is the largest folk crafts distribution center and antique items trading market in the country. The market is divided into six business areas: street stall area, ancient building area, classical furniture area, modern collection area, stone carving area, and catering service area. Its predecessor can be traced back to the spontaneous street stall market known as the "ghost market". Before October 2003, it was divided into two major sections: the porcelain miscellaneous area and the second-hand book stall area. The market covers categories such as jewelry and jade, four treasures of the study, ancient books, calligraphy and paintings, antique furniture, etc.
