About forest bathing beach

Forest bathing beach is a forest environment specially designed for forest bathing activities. It is the core carrier of forest health care. It must have fresh air, forest coverage rate of more than 60%, natural soundscape and ecological landscape, etc. Forest bathing originated in Japan and was promoted by the Japanese Forestry Agency in 1982. Taiwan, our country, is an early area in the development of forest bathing. More than 40 forest bathing beaches have been built since 1965. Since the 1980s, mainland my country, such as Beijing, Hunan, Sichuan, Zhejiang and other places, have set up some forest bathing beaches based on high-quality forest parks. Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, approved for construction in 1982, is one of the early representatives.
