About Golden Dragon Bridge

Jinlong Bridge, also known as Zili River Bridge and Zili Bridge, is located in Qihe Town, Gucheng District, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. It was built in the sixth year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1880). The Jinlong Bridge is slightly oriented from east to west and consists of the bridge body, bridge abutments on both sides of the bridge, anchorage on both sides of the bridge, revetments on both sides of the shore, bridge corridors on both sides, and rest areas on both sides. There are three bridge repair inscriptions. The main structure of the bridge is suspended from both sides of the river by 18 large iron chains. 16 of them are load-bearing bottom chains, with two layers of horizontal and vertical wooden boards laid on them, and then walking wooden boards are laid straight and wooden rails are nailed horizontally to form the bridge deck.
