About Yak Meadow
Maoniuping is located at the northern end of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Scenic Area in Lijiang. It is an important part of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Scenic Area. It stretches from Liming Highway in the east, to the Heishui River in the south, to the east foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the west, and to the upper part of Snow Flower Village in the north. It covers an area of 16.6 square kilometers. Yi and Tibetan villages live in the scenic area. The villagers make a living through animal husbandry, with simple folk customs and a strong national cultural atmosphere. The landscape of Maoniuping is a typical meadow pasture, with alpine snowfield scenery, Heishui River and streams, and natural, quiet and simple primitive forest scenery as a group, with distinct layers and colorful colors.
