About Twin Springs Villa
Shuangqing Villa is located halfway up the mountain at the southern foot of Xiangshan Park in Haidian District, Beijing. It is named after the two springs flowing out of a stone wall in the courtyard. The entire courtyard of Shuangqing Villa is about 7,000 square meters. The lintel of the villa is engraved with the words "Shuangqing Villa" in regular script. On March 25, 1949, after the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Central Military Commission entered Peiping, they lived and worked in Shuangqing Villa. Shuangqing Villa was the first stop for the Communist Party of China when they came to Beijing to take the exam. It was once the command center of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Witnessed the journey of the Chinese revolution to victory.
