About Dali Confucian Temple

The Dali Confucian Temple was built in the Yuan Dynasty. The old site is east of the main gate of the current Dali No. 1 Lieutenant Colonel Headquarters. The buildings of the Dali Confucian Temple have been changed and demolished several times. On December 11, 2014, the restoration and reconstruction project of the Dali Confucian Temple officially started. After more than a year of intense construction, the Confucian Temple has been completed, covering an area of more than 10,000 square meters. It is open from 07:30 to 21:30 from Monday to Sunday. The Dali Confucian Temple, as an important historical relic of the ancient economic, political, military and cultural center of Dali, has been rebuilt and repaired many times during the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Republic of China, forming a magnificent ancient building complex.
