About Changchun Cave
Changchun Cave, located at the western foot of Weibao Mountain in Weishan Yi and Hui Autonomous County, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, was first built in the 44th year of Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1779) by Taoists Li Faji and Yang Fayin. During the Jiaqing, Daoguang, Xianfeng and Guangxu years of the Qing Dynasty, more regulations were added, and it became the current scale. It is a palace of the Chunyang Sect of Quanzhen Religion in China. Changchun Cave faces east to west and is built along the mountain, covering an area of 1,656 square meters. The layout is arranged and combined according to the Taoist "Bagua" shape, which consists of the mountain gate, front hall, main hall, wing room, Taoist house, garden, etc. The main hall is built on a 1.85-meter stone Xumizuo.
