About Xinhai Luanzhou Uprising Memorial Park

The Xinhai Luanzhou Uprising Memorial Park is located at the eastern foot of Xianlong Mountain in Wenquan Town, Haidian District, Beijing. It is an architectural relic from the Republic of China period. Completed in April 1937, the memorial park includes stone gates, ancient monuments, stele pavilions, stone buildings, stone screens, memorial towers and other buildings. In the 25th year of the Republic of China (1936), Feng Yuxiang built the Xinhai Luanzhou Uprising Memorial Park to commemorate the martyrs of the Xinhai Revolution and Luanzhou Uprising. The Xinhai Luanzhou Uprising Memorial Park is composed of three parts, facing south and built against the mountains. From the main gate stone archway to the top of Xianlong Mountain, there is a north-south central axis. The buildings in the memorial garden are arranged on this central axis according to the mountain.
