About xideji temple
Xide Monastery, also known as Xide Lin Temple, full name is Xide Sang Dan Lin Monastery, Xide Ga Bei Sang Bei Lin, Xide Ganden Sang Dan Lin Monastery. Because there are four bridges around the temple, it is also called "Xide Sang Hima". The Chinese name Ning Xi Temple was given by the emperor. It is located in the four lanes of Cemenlin, 100 meters east of the Duosenge intersection in Chengguan District, Lhasa City, Tibet Autonomous Region. It was built in the 9th century. Xide Temple covers an area of approximately 6,533 square meters and is one of the ten largest Lin temples in Lhasa ("Lin" refers to the residence of the Tibetan Living Buddha in Lhasa). The main buildings include Buddhist halls, monks' houses, and monks' kitchens.
