Lingentang is located at No. 4, Lane 69, Shijia Street, Gaoqiao Town, Pudong New District. It has a history of about a hundred years. It was originally rented to private houses for religious activities. In 1930, Puxi Hongde Church funded the purchase of land and built the church (the current site). It was opened in 1985 and the new church was rebuilt in 1998. The church was rated as a four-star civilized and harmonious temple church in Shanghai in 2022, and the evaluation rating is valid until December 2025.
