About Dadieshui Waterfall Scenery Zone
Dadieshui Waterfall Scenic Area is located in Dadieshui Village, Banqiao Town, Shilin Yi Autonomous County, Kunming City, Yunnan Province, about 25 kilometers away from the county seat. It is the largest waterfall landscape in Yunnan Province, China. The core landscape of the Dadieshui Waterfall is formed by the Bajiang River, a tributary of the Nanpan River, flowing through the fault rock wall to form a three-level cascade of water. The total drop is about 92 meters and the width is more than 30 meters. In the dry season, it falls like a white stream, but in the rainy season, it is majestic. The water mist often appears as a spectacle of "cascading water spraying clouds". The scenic spot is currently closed to the public, and the reopening time is subject to official announcement. The waterfall bottom pool is 1,448 meters above sea level, the lowest point in Shilin County.
