About fenhu

Fen Lake is located at the junction of Wujiang District, Jiangsu Province and Jiashan County, Zhejiang Province. It is 6 kilometers long from east to west and 3 kilometers long from north to south. It has a total area of 9,700 acres, half of which belongs to Jiangsu and half to Zhejiang. In ancient times, it was called Fenhu Lake, which was the boundary lake between Wu and Yue during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. Located in the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta, the Shanghai-Jiangsu-Zhejiang Expressway and National Highway 318 run through the entire territory. It takes 30 minutes, 60 minutes and 20 minutes to drive to Shanghai, Hangzhou and Suzhou respectively. The Shanghai-Suzhou-Lake High-speed Railway and the Tongsu-Jianyong High-speed Railway that have already started construction will set up stations in Fenhu.
