About Genghis Khan's Palace

Genghis Khan's Palace is a grassland-style tourist attraction located about one kilometer southeast of Genghis Khan's Mausoleum in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It consists of a golden-domed tent, two side halls, a sweat selection platform, a hunting ground, a racecourse, and three chariots with 2-meter-high wheels. The scenic area has a cultural relics exhibition hall, yurts for tourist accommodation, and entertainment venues such as archery, horse racing, and wrestling. The main building, the golden-domed tent, is a yurt-style structure with a diameter of 18 meters and a height of 13 meters. The election platform is an antique building and was used to select tribal leaders in history. Three large tanks are displayed in the scenic area. Here, visitors can not only appreciate the history and culture of the Mongolian nation, but also appreciate the grassland customs.
