About Tian'anmen Square
Tiananmen Square is located on East Chang'an Street in Dongcheng District, Beijing. It has undergone many modifications and changes, and finally formed a large square with a length of 880 meters from north to south, a width of 500 meters from east to west, and an area of 440,000 square meters. It is the largest city square in the world. Tiananmen Square has a central axis and symmetrical wings. It can accommodate 1 million people for a grand gathering.
