Anhui Zipengshan National Forest Park is located in the southwest of Hefei City, 18 kilometers away from the urban area. It belongs to the subtropical humid monsoon climate zone. The vegetation types are mainly coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forests and broad-leaved pure forests. The forest coverage rate is more than 96.3%. The altitude is 188.7 meters. The total park area is 1002.47 hectares. In 1992, Zipengshan Forest Park was approved as a national forest park by the former Ministry of Forestry.
