About Planning Exhibition Hall

The Planning Exhibition Hall is a special venue that systematically displays city history, planning results and future development in the form of text, drawings, models and multimedia. It has the functions of planning publicity, public participation and city image display. As the first urban planning thematic venue in China, the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall was completed and opened on February 25, 2000. It will be updated in 2022 to form a five-story exhibition space, including digital city sandboxes, urban laboratories and other interactive exhibitions. The Shaoxing City Exhibition Hall will open in December 2023, with a construction area of 20,055 square meters. It will have five major exhibition areas including the City Memory Hall and the City Planning Hall. It will use technologies such as 5DX dynamic cinema to achieve an immersive experience.
