About Wuhan National Government Site Memorial Hall
The Memorial Hall of the Former Site of the National Government in Wuhan, also known as the Nanyang Building, is located at the foot of the Liudu Bridge on Zhongshan Avenue in Hankou, Hubei Province, next to the People's Paradise. It is the office building of Nanyang Brothers Tobacco Co., Ltd. invested and built by the patriotic overseas Chinese brothers Jian Zhaonan and Jian Yujie. It was completed in 1921. The main building has five floors and the annex building has four floors, covering an area of 885 square meters. It integrates European architectural style. It is a national key cultural relic protection unit and was selected into the first batch of China's 20th century architectural heritage list.
