About Chongging Stilwell Museum
Chongqing Stilwell Museum (Stilwell Research Center) is located at No. 63 Jialing New Road, Yuzhong District, Chongqing. It covers an area of more than 5,000 square meters and a building area of more than 4,000 square meters. It is a social science celebrity museum. In 1994, the "General Stilwell's Former Residence Exhibition Hall" was officially opened to the public. It mainly displays five parts: "Stilwell in China", "Flying Tiger Air Force", "Hump Flight", "Merill Commando" and "US Military Observation Group in Yan'an". As of 2019, the collection of Chongqing Stillwell Museum totals 20 pieces/set. After the main project was completed in 2003, it was reopened, restoring the original appearance of General Stilwell's former residence and adding special exhibitions.
