About Beijing Stone Carving Art Museum 3

The Beijing Stone Carving Art Museum is a thematic museum that mainly collects, studies, and displays stone carving cultural relics in Beijing. Located at No. 24 Wutasi Village, Haidian District, Beijing, it is a division-level first-class public welfare institution under the Beijing Municipal Administration of Cultural Heritage, a national third-level museum, a Beijing patriotism education base, a Beijing science popularization education base, and one of the first batch of cultural and creative product development pilot units of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage. The museum is located in the Zhenjue Temple built by Emperor Yongle of the Ming Dynasty. It was renamed Zhengjue Temple in the Qing Dynasty. Emperor Qianlong twice chose this place as one of the places to celebrate his mother's birthday.
