About Zhangye wetlands park and museum

Zhangye Wetland Museum is located on the west side of the south gate of Zhangye National Wetland Park in Gansu Province. It was officially opened on August 8, 2013. It covers an area of 200,000 square meters, with a main building area of 5,571 square meters. It is equipped with a wetland bird watching tower and tourist service center, with a total investment of 130 million yuan. There are six exhibition areas and a 4D popular science theater in the museum, which display Zhangye’s natural geography and ecological culture through sound and light technology and specimen pictures and texts. As of September 2020, the museum has a collection of 201 pieces/set and receives 213,000 visitors annually. Wetland ecological science education has been carried out for a long time. As of September 2020, a total of 8 educational activities have been carried out.
